The Challenge
A national client challenged the 10 STAR team to create an invite-only nightlife industry event experience beyond the ordinary in Toronto. Challenge accepted! The only way to truly impress and engage nightlife industry staff is to take them somewhere they have never been before...so we did just that!
The Solution
The Hearn is a decommissioned electrical generating station in the Port Lands area of Toronto. 10 STAR engaged with the client over 6 months to plan out the execution of transforming this former power station into an exclusive nightlife industry education experience. Over the 5 day on-site build, we created a 97,500 square foot fully branded industry event for some of the city’s top entertainment personnel. The team brought in 350 liquid square shipping totes with each connected to a centralized soundboard for music and effects. We had brand ambassadors on-site to educate attendees on the client’s products as well as entertainment throughout the evening which was highlighted by the international DJ duo of Dzeko and Torres who kept the crowd bumping.
The Outcome
The client was simply blown away and the industry staff of Toronto was treated to an extraordinary evening of product education and flare with over 2000 in attendance.
