Ryde launched in Canada with a targeted strategy in the Greater Toronto area. 10 STAR led an engaging experiential marketing campaign, deploying brand ambassadors, producing a unique Sound Shower Experience, and guerrilla marketing tactics, while establishing a strong social media presence to drive awareness and build brand recognition.

Challenge

To launch Ryde in Canada with a pilot program in the Greater Toronto area. 10 STAR was tasked with developing an omni-channel activation strategy and executing an immersive experiential marketing campaign to build brand awareness, conversion and brand love for Ryde in its first key market in Canada.

Solution

10 STAR’s team supported Ryde’s launch with 12 brand ambassadors engaging the public and gathering insights using a custom app. The Ryde Sound Shower Experience featured three custom produced tracks matching product SKUs to enhance moods. Our Ryde Response Team, with custom jumpsuits, branded assets, and using the Ryde Response Vehicle, executed guerrilla marketing in Toronto making a big impact at street level. We also established Ryde’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook with digital and live-action content, partnered with influencers, and ran social contests to grow followers.

The
Result

Ryde Canada’s launch soared with 63,000+ sample trials and 11,000 Instagram followers in 3 months. It’s now available in over 400 stores nationwide and on Amazon while reaching consumers across the country. Our strategic Out of Home billboards at prime locations like Yonge & Dundas, Eaton Centre, Union Station, had a major impact on boosting brand visibility.
